Querida Cris,

Dear Cris,

Yesterday, as with all Sundays, I attended mass and I prayed for you. Then I went shopping.

Having finished my first stop, I returned to my car and looked down. Suddenly, I found a penny lying on the pavement. I started to laugh and feeling your presence next to me, telling me “thanks for remembering me at mass!”

I took this picture and immediately I picked it up, as you would always do every time you saw a coin on the floor when we were together. Repeatedly, you would tell me that when you saw a penny on the ground it was because your mother was remembering you. Well now, I feel that you are with me when I see coins on the floor.

I love you Cris, and I’m glad to continue to feel you by my side at many unexpected times.

Love, –Anny
